HARMONY MOTEL POLICIES

Stay with us on your journey

These are general Motel policies. Policies may vary per room type, please check the accompanying room details. The motel only has 8-room units with limited room types, and we manage two vacation homes Chucks Cabin and the Harmonic House.

Cancellation Policy:

For reservations made a week before arrival, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before your reservation (before the arrival date). 

For reservations made two to four weeks in advance, cancellations must be made at least 1 week before your reservation (before the arrival date).

Please take note, that if reservations are made in advance  5 weeks or more before the arrival date, the required notice of cancellation time frame will be changed. (Hence the 72 hrs. or one-week cancellation policy will not apply to these reservations). You would have to cancel 4 weeks before the arrival date, to avoid a cancellation fee. Please call the Harmony to inquire further.

 In case of a late cancellation, a penalty of one night’s stay will apply for both a one-night and two-night stay. If you booked for more than three or more nights 50% penalty will apply to your entire stay.

No-shows are considered cancellations and they will result in a loss of the full amount of your stay. If we are unable to rent out the remaining nights for early checkouts that are reserved for multiple nights, you will be charged the full amount of room with tax for the reservation

Reservation Policies for Holiday Periods:

Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year are holiday periods. Our regular 72-hour cancellation policy changes over to a 7-day cancellation policy during these times. Some holidays have a two-night minimum stay as outlined below:

Spring Break (March/April):  7-day cancellation policy
Thanksgiving (November):  2-night minimum stay, 7-day cancellation policy
Christmas & New Year’s (December 24th – January 1st):  2-night minimum stay, 7-day cancellation policy

Harmony Motel – Payment & Check-In Policy

  1. CHECK IN TIME: GUEST MUST BE PRESENT WITH ID AND CREDIT CARD 3pm-9.30pm call to see if hotel can accommodate late check in after 10pm,
  2. The responsible party of the reservation must be present at check in.
  3. LATE DEPARTURES: 11 AM is check out. There is a $25/hour. Maximum of two hours.

Identification Requirement

You must be over 18 to make a reservation

valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in

The ID must match the name on the reservation and payment method.

Payment & Credit Card Policy

To ensure a secure and smooth check-in experience for all guests:

  • The name on the credit card must match the name on the reservation and the guest checking in
  • We accept major credit cards, including secure digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay when presented in person at check-in.
  • All Credit cards must be valid. Any changes in your credit card information prior to arrival date, you must notify us. We will cancel the reservations if the card is invalid, or if payment is declined.
  • Cash payments and credit card payments at check-in require a $100.00 deposit in addition to your room charges. Should any damages exceed the deposit amount you are responsible for the difference in payments.

Security & Fraud Prevention

For the protection of our guests and property:

  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel a reservation if payment verification cannot be completed
  • Reservations may be refused if:
    • The name on the ID, reservation, and payment method do not match
    • Required documentation is not provided

Third-Party Payments

If a guest is not the cardholder:

  • A completed Credit Card Authorization Form, provided by the motel staff, must be completed by the cardholder call for this, card holder government Id will be required, the form must be submitted prior to arrival
  • The form must include:
    • Cardholder name and signature
    • Billing address
    • Copy of valid ID (for verification purposes)

Complete the form with written authorization to allow the hotel to charge your card for the reservation.

Without prior authorization, we may require an alternate form of payment at check-in.

  • THIRD-PARTY BOOKINGS:If you booked through Booking.com, Expedia, etc., all Reservations are subject to the same policy; however, any cancellations and changes must be made through that platform. We cannot process these direct!

General policies

  • No smoking of any substance or vaporing in the rooms, no INCENSE, or use of heavy aerosol/ fragrance sprays are not permitted in guest rooms: $100+ cleaning fee to credit card.
  • Harmony Motel is a pet-free motel.
  • Outdoor -Hot tub has seasonal usage not open in the summer.
  • No car charging at the motel.
  • No unregistered guests allowed. Hotel amenities only for the use of registered guests
  • Any damages to the room or property will incur charges for the guest responsible for the reservations, DAMAGES AND LOSS: Pertinent charges will be made to credit card.
  • QUIET HOURS
    Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8 am.

  • GUEST PARKING
    Free parking is available to all guests only.
  • CHANGES TO HOUSE RULES
    The owner/management of Harmony Motel reserves the right to amend, modify, change, cancel, or add to these policies or the content featured on our website at any time without prior notice. Please check our website regularly for updates to our policies. Any modifications to these policies that occur prior to your departure are considered a part of your reservation agreement with

If you require a later check-in, call the motel to see if your late check-in can be accommodated. We do not provide a 24-hour desk service as we are a small motel of 8 units but we will try to accommodate your needs.
